Catch up: Enjoying the weather

The weather out here has been great lately. So we are trying to explore the area and our first stop was here....

Picking strawberries at a local farm while eating them was so much fun and so yummy.

One of the weekends we rented a canoe and went on the Red river and paddled for a couple of hours.

It was the perfect weather and even Louie played along well. At one point though he jumped into the river out of nowhere, but we got him back into the canoe. He was pretty shocked from the coldness of the water, lol. I don't think he will do that again soon.

The river was nice, we saw lots of turtles and pretty birds, but also the after effects of the flood they had here last year.

It was good to get out of the house and into the outdoors. We enjoyed it very much and will do it more often, if we ever get used to this humidity here.
