We are back!!!

Ok, I know it's been taking me way longer than May to come back to blogging, but hey, better late than never, right?! =)
I have a lot of catching up to do, so hopefully I'll blog once or twice a week from now on till I catch up. Before I jump into our trip to Europe I need to blog about a few things that happened right before that trip.

Here is a picture of a turtle that me and Louie ran into while taking a walk through our neighborhood. I couldn't believe it when I saw it......a turtle??? I called Dan at work and he looked it up on the internet and to our surprise, turtles like that are apparently very common in this area. Who knew???
Do you see the claws? I am sure they could do some serious damage and did I mention, that this turtle was fast. I always thought turtles move slow, but not this one....
This walk was quite the adventure for Louie and me.
The weekend before our trip I had a sleepover with my Miamaids at our Young Women's President's home. We had such a good time playing games, eating a lot of junk food, watching movies, staying up way too late and lots of goofing around.
We also baked cookies, decorated them and delivered them late at night "without a trace" to members of our ward.
Unfortunately not all the girls could come, but we still had a great time with the one's that could make it.
