I know it's been forever since I blogged, but I had to take a time out for a while and now I am not really back either. =)
Dan and I are going on a trip to England/Scotland and Germany this coming Monday. We are crazy excited about it! So there will be no blogging till I come back from Germany which is the end of May. =) I am so happy that I can stay for a long time with my family and friends this time.
But the reason I wanted to blog today is.......
Our adoption journey has begun, for real this time. We have tried to start the process three times now, and with most things, apparently the third time is the charm. Both of the earlier attempts were interrupted by circumstances outside our control, and each time we surrendered our dream of growing our family with heavy hearts, but with a determination to return and try again as soon as we could.
That time has finally come, and we are over the moon about it! Our adoption study has been completed in what might be world-record time, and our profile went live with LDS Family Services on Tuesday. After seven years of waiting, it feels great to be finally doing something.
