After flying a little more than 13 hours, with a layover in Canada and a long ride on the subway we made it to London. As you can see, we were exhausted, but finding our hotel was even more exhausting. We kind of researched our way from the train station to the hotel, but it turned into a little nightmare....each of us maneuvering around 80 lbs of luggage through a London neighborhood where no one knew the street we were looking for.

After 2 hours (seriously!) we finally made it to our room, which was another adventure in itself (the pics we saw on the internet didn't do it justice, and I don't mean that in a good way). Let's just say it was comforting to know it was only for 2 nights.

After we freshened up we headed out for a little scenic walk. We were starving and stopped at this cute restaurant and filled up first, then we headed over to the beautiful St. Paul's cathedral.

It was cool to see that people just hang out on the steps, reading books, drawing, enjoying the sun, chatting, etc. They were all out enjoying the gorgeous weather.

Unfortunately we couldn't go inside since there was a special Easter event going on.

This is us in front of St. Paul's just from another side.

Just beautiful, isn't it?!

From the Millennium Bridge we had amazing views of London. We just love how the new architecture is mixed in so beautifully with the old style.

The weather was perfect for exploring. On our way back to the hotel we stopped at a pub and got some delicious dinner. It took us a while to figure out how to order the food though. =) Who knew you had to do that at the bar.... ?
