Catch up: Camp time

A few weeks after coming back from Germany I had the chance to go to girl's camp with the Young Women of my church and Dan had the chance to go to Boy Scout camp. We don't have too many pictures to post to show you how much fun it was.
Dan loved every minute of being outside with the boys doing what boys do when they are outside, lol. He really didn't take many pictures...

At girls camp we had very good weather the whole week (except for the pouring of rain when we set up our camp and when we took it down). ;) The girls got along pretty well for the most part and enjoyed all the fun activities (hiking, swimming, learning new skills, cooking, crafts and games) that were planned for every day. They had some good pranks up their sleeves, but couldn't keep up with their leaders. If you want to see some girls screaming and jumping in their tent, just put some frogs in there, lol.
The bishop came out one night and had to compete against the bishops of the other untis. He fought well and even though he didn't win the battle, it was fun to cheer him on.
The testimony bonfire at the end of camp was my favorite part. It was so great to hear the strong testimonies of so many young women. I felt the spirit so strong and I will never forget this experience.
We feel so blessed that we were able to go and spend this time with the girls and boys and get to know them better.
