....so here is a short recap in pictures.
This was our pretty Christmas tree, which we picked out at a neighborhood garden center.
Dan was really excited about his Christmas plate with lots of good german treats.
Christmas morning was very relaxing and special with just the two of us.
That's me coloring the back of an Advent calendar, which I do every Christmas.

Kaiser our bird didn't think the angel should be the tree topper. He wanted to be the official topper.
A week after Christmas we took a tour at a local Chocolate factory with our friends.
There was a huge selection of yummy candy.....
As you saw on one of the pictures above I went for the big lollipop, while Dan opted for one of the "little" candy canes.
We really had a nice Christmas together in our home. We missed both of our families terribly, but we enjoyed our quiet time as well.

Jeromy's mom in from Germany, and we do the same thing with the treat plates! But not as many treats as you guys!
HOW FUN! You guys are so great! It looks like you had a nice relaxing Christmas together! Btw- I LOVE ADVENT CALENDARS!
