Blast from the Past

This is Kerstin and Josh, friends of ours with a similar make-up. Josh is American, and Kerstin is German. We met with them last week to catch up on old times.

See, Kerstin was one of Dan's investigators on his mission. That was about 8 years ago. Since that time, she went and served a mission in Russia, which is where she met Josh. She had her eyes on him in the mission field, but obediently waited for him to get home before writing him and starting up their relationship. They are now engaged to be married in early summer of this year.

Kerstin still lives in Germany, but flew out to see Josh while he goes to school at BYU (go UTES). While she was here, we were able to get together for an evening and catch up on old times. Dan hadn't seen Kerstin since the day he left Goerlitz, and they had a lot of catching up to do. We had a great time with them. It was really cool to see someone who Dan taught on his mission, especially since she is still so strong in the church.
