8 years ago today...

...... I was visiting Dan from Germany for 3 weeks and besides many other beautiful places he took me to temple square to see the "Music and the spoken word" and I was excited to be in the tabernacle for the first time. It was a beautiful day and Dan and I were walking around temple square.
In front of this statue Dan dropped down on his knees and ask me to marry him. It was so romantic and I was so overwhelmed that I just hugged him and didn't say a word. After a couple of seconds Dan finally said, ...." so does that mean yes?.."
Of course it meant yes and I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful husband. We got married 8 months later and have been very happy together.
This day will always be special in my heart.
