When we moved in to Shoreline, we had almost nothing. One bed, one table, four kitchen chairs, and two fold-out camping chairs for the living room. Oh, and we also had a TV (thanks, Mom.) Our two bedroom apartment was so empty that it echoed. Fast forward six years, and we now have more stuff than we know what to do with.
We are slowly starting to pack up, and it is becoming more and more clear just how much junk we have. Already the wall in the office is becoming crowded with full boxes, and you can't even tell we have packed anything when you look around the place.
We have decided to sell some of our stuff that we don't want to move with us. Even though we love some of it, like the entertainment center and the corner desk, they are just too big and too complex to move across the country, so we are gonna sell them to our friends and neighbors. As we went through and made a list, we found that there is quite a lot of stuff that we want to leave behind. It looks like we will be having a full-blown moving sale. So, if you are reading the blog, and remembering how sweet our standing lamp is, then let us know. First come, first serve.
As moving day gets closer and closer, we are still trying to avoid the fact. We only pack when we force ourselves to, and we don't like talking about it. We hate to leave Shoreline, and all of our friends up here. There is no chance we will ever find a cooler ward than University 2nd. Oh well. We have to grow up sometime. Might as well be now.

Oh my goodness! I don't know what to say about the fact that the Roberts will be leaving Shoreline. I think I will have a moment of silence! You guys should bury something in remembrance. I totally understand about moving and I sure feel bad for you guys. It's a ton of work!!! Too bad we aren't there to finally return the favor!
Hey, where are you moving?
What's this about moving across the country?
When and where are you moving? Sounds like we won't be here much longer either... probably out by Thanksgiving.
