In the beginning of August we went camping with our ward and that was the kick off for our summer vacation. Dan left his job a couple weeks early so we could spend some time together before he had to take off for his officer training.
Isn't this just beautiful?
Camping without eating marshmallows would be so lame!
We had a really good breakfast before we took off to do some fishing.
This is the South Platte River where Dan tried his luck.
He didn't have any catches, but some almost catches. =) I think this picture of Dan fishing looks funny since you can't even see the river, but it was there I promise.
Louie had a great time too. This time he had some company at the campground and it was fun seeing the dogs play well together. But he was exhausted at the end of the day.
