This weekend we had surprisingly good weather, so Dan and I worked on a few projects.

At first we needed to fix our bell housing, since it broke during the winter (and flooded the street, so the fire department had to come and shut it off, since both Dan and I were at work).

I think Dan enjoyed playing with the torch and fixing things. He did a good job and now we can finally use our sprinkler system again.

As you know, almost all of our trees didn't survive the year without water when nobody was living in that house. So we have some weird looking trees and 2 trees were completely dead and needed to be replaced. This one is a little apple tree and I hope it grows big and strong, so I can have apples to eat. 

And of course I had to plant some flowers just like last year to make it look more colorful. Aren't they pretty?
