As promised...

Here are some pictures of "Kaiser" as promised. As you can see he likes Dan, any kind of jewelry and sitting on our heads. =)
Dan has really fallen in love with him and is playing with him all the time. I'm starting to like him too, even though he doesn't seem to care for me.
I have to apologize for Dan's announcement about my big news. I'm sure you were all thinking the same thing, but unfortunately I'm not pregnant. You should know that I would never hold back that kind of news. =)

What Dan was talking about was my big promotion at work! A lot of you know that after moving to Colorado I looked for a job for a couple of weeks and wasn't very happy with the offers I got. I started with a company that has four stores in the Denver area and they gave me a good offer to work for them. I enjoyed the first couple of weeks working there, but it just felt like I didn't fit there. Later they gave me the opportunity to compound medications again, like I did in Germany. I started to really like that and felt more comfortable within the company. Then, out of the blue, I got a call a couple of weeks ago from one of the companies that I applied to when we moved here. I guess they keep their resumes on file for a couple of months. They wanted me to come in for an interview which I did to see what they could offer me....

I guess I did great in the interview because they gave me an awesome offer to come work for them.

I felt really bad, because I wanted to be loyal to my coworkers and I had a hard time calling and letting my boss know that I would be leaving them. He said that they would hate to see me go, but he couldn't match what the new company had to offer. Then, about a half hour after I got off the phone with him, the phone rang again. It was my boss, he made me an even better offer than the new company was making. To make a long story short I took this offer after debating over pros and cons and praying about it.

I'm so happy about the turn of things and Dan is so excited that I finally got the recognition that he says I deserve.

I'M SOOOO HAPPY !!!!!!!!!

So there you go. Not pregnant, but still very blessed.
