Our 7th Anniversary

This is how it all began, 7 years and 8 months ago. We both looked so young, and Dan had so much hair (lol). We got engaged in front of the Joseph and Emma statue at Church Headquarters, on the day before Valentine's Day. Dan thought he was being tricky and sneaky, but Dana saw it coming from miles away.



This is us in the car on the way to get married at the Leipzig Rathaus (City Hall). In Germany you have to get married civilly before you can get sealed, so we got to get married twice in two days.






This is Dan singing to Dana at our German mega-reception, which is a Roberts family tradition. There were tons of people there, the food was great (so we hear), and we all had a sweet time. We smiled so much and for so long that our faces froze in smiles. We just wish that more of Dan's side of the family could have been there to celebrate with us. Having Dan's mom there was especially nice.





These were our wedding invitation pictures for our American reception, which was a lot smaller than the German one. They were taken on the day of our wedding, which started out rainy, but ended up being perfect for pictures.












And the rest is history. Seven years of wonderful times, a lot of fun, and a heaping helping of love.












We get accused of acting like newlyweds all the time. To those accusers we say: Thank you, we know. We would not have it any other way.










Every year we seem to get a little closer and love each other a little more.








They say that 7 is the cursed year. We thought that 7 was fun.

We look forward to the next 7, and then the next 7 million after that.
