This is Dana with her flowers. 29 roses and one white lily.
Dan hardly ever gets Dana flowers, so when she got these at her work she was both embarrassed and surprised.
This is Josh Groban in concert. We had great seats, as you can tell. 8 rows from the stage on the side. He was both surprisingly talented (plays the drums. Who knew?) and surprisingly funny. It was a good show. His violinist played Metallica.
This is a wider shot of the concert. Both the blurry cellist and the smudged violinist were world-class musicians in their own right. (Did I mention the violinist played Metallica?)
This is the crowd at the concert in the Trash Can (aka Energy Solutions Arena). Also gives you a better idea of where we were sitting. Sound quality in there sucks, but thanks to the echo, you get to hear everything twice.
And here we have Marissa Gwilliam's Father's boat. We spent just about three hours on board, and were sore for just about three days afterwards. Boating with the Gwillies and the Takemoris was a ton of fun. Once Dan left, it was just 500 lbs of fun. Dana says: This is Dan's joke. I had nothing to do with it.
Here we are at the ward camp-out. Pineview reservoir was awesome. The water was warm, the campsite was large, and who can beat free dutch-oven dessert? Throw in some good company, some night swimming, and even some spiritual enlightenment, and you have yourself a University 2nd Ward Camp-o-Rama.
And finally, here is Dana with two of our nieces, Jo-jo (in the middle) and Persaus (Per-say-ess) up at my mom's cabin. This is Dana in her element: niece magnet extra-ordinaire.
So there you have it. A busy week, but a very good one. Now if only we could get a chance to sleep off all the fun we had. . .

Yeah, pictures!
I was about to say, "Yay, pictures!" but Carolyn beat me to it! Beautiful flowers. Okay, I would have kept the lily.
