A Blog is Born

So, tons of our friends have blogs, and Dana reads them all religiously (though where she finds the time for that I will never know). I have wanted to start a blog for some time now, but honestly, I felt a little silly doing it.

Why, do you ask?

Well, honestly, because we don't have any kids to show off to the world. It feels a little selfish and egotistical to write a blog about me. It even feels silly to write one about Dana and me. What are we going to post? Pictures of ourselves in our offices? Pictures of us watching TV?

So, I was thinking that way for a long time, until today, when I realised that we (at least Dana) is pretty darn great, and that there are people out there who would actually care to know what we have cooking over here. Also, I have a lot of random thoughts about stuff, and I don't want to force Dana to hear all my random nonsense all of the time. Where do you deposit your random pseudo-philosophical musings in the digital age? Your Blog, of course!

So this is a work in progress, and it might be slow progress. We might not post a lot, and maybe only I will post, in which case this will be a manly blog with oil, grease, testosterone and blood. If Dana posts, it will be oil, grease, testosterone, blood, and Lederhosen and Sauerkraut.

No, acutally if Dana posts, it will be cultured and intelligent. That is how you will know the difference: Dana = cultured and intelligent, Dan = random and (sometimes) mildly funny.
